Process Technology Introduces Zinc Phosphate Heater

Process Technology has developed a heater designed specifically for phosphate heating applications. This new heater concept was introduced at the SUR/FIN ’99 trade show in Cincinnati, June 22-24, 1999.

The phosphate heater withstands scaling due to a unique construction that reduces localized overheating and increases service life. Its heavy wall construction resists corrosion as well. Standard thermal protection, grounded sheath, and a low watt density of 23 watts/in² (3.5 w/cm²) ensures a safe operation. The heaters are available in a variety of sizes and configurations for both over-the-side and bottom heater applications.
